Majid Afrasiabi (Chairman of the Board)
He was managing director of Elgar, a major road construction company, for more than twenty five years. He was the owner of one of Iran’s first largest mines in the city of Shiraz. He has headed some of the most important road and airport construction projects in Iran, including the Shiraz to Bandar Abbas Highway. His skills and experience in construction machinery have enabled him to lead teams for the building of key bridges and the installation of oil and gas pipelines.

Hamid Hamid Reza Afrasiabi is a man who has a combination of academic and working experiences in Iran and abroad. As the managin director of his father’s company named Hamvar Machine, he enhanced his managerial skills. His complementary studies in International Business majoring in Iran’s market of heavy machinery together with the important network that he made with major European companies in the field, gave him the knowledge of what the world can offer Iran. Mr. Afrasiabi set up his company by obtaining the exclusive dealership from italhammer an Italian company which manufatures hydrulic hammers. This decision proved to be successful and in 2004 he obtained exclusive dealeship from a Chinese company named Liugong which ranks the first among all other Chinese brands as the manufacturer of heavy construction machinery. To the surprise of many of his colleagues, his astute judge of choosing Liugong proved to be successful and appropriate considering the unique circumstances surrounding Iran. The exponential sale of the company was backed by Mr. Afrasiabi's commitment to build the company as the best after sales service provider among all other companies. It was his vision to focus on solid growth which made him as the “Industry Outstanding Personality” in 2009 by the Ministry of Interior. His in-depth understanding of the world view together with the full awareness of how market operates in Iran has further confirmed his mindset of THINKING GLOBALLY AND ACTING LOCALLY in all of his decisions. The managers of different departments have also tried to learn from his optimism and his talent in turning every crisis into opportunity. Mohammad Reza Zandi (After Sales Service Manager)
Mr. Zandi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tehran University. Working in Caterpillar Corporation for 10 years and 16 years in the main contracting company as a technical manager, made him to be regarded as a reliable source of information in the industry. It was his determination to fulfil his insatiable thirst in pursuing academic and on - site knowledge that earned him great opportunities to take rewarding training courses in order to transfer important technologies to Iran. Mr. Zandi’s charismatic leadership together with his humble working attitude has uplifted the spirit of 80 mechanics who work under his leadership. As a result, Haffar Machine Shiraz Co. was recognized by Liugong as the best after sales service agent consecutively during 2005-2009. Mr. Zandi has completed several engine and hydraulic system courses at Caterpillar Co. and John Deer at Menzi Muck. His extensive work experience as technician and mechanic has enabled him to hold position as technical and after sales manager at Haffar Machine Shiraz for almost seven years. He leads a team of 80 qualified mechanics and technicians at Haffar Machine’s work station in Tehran.

Hossein Habibzadeh (Sales Marketing Manager)
Hossein Habibzadeh holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Tehran University. His keen interest in heavy machinery and his studies on the customer behaviour, made him write and publish extensively about the market of heavy machinery in Iran. Soon his remarkable skills as a market researcher were recognized by one of the well known machinery construction firms in Iran where he further developed his career as a professional market researcher. It did not take him long to become a marketing manager when he raised the sales of the company exponentially. Since his employment with Haffar Machine Shiraz, he has set his sales team with high target sales for the future and has benefited us with outstanding sales in the years 2009 and 2010.
